Holy Spirit, sent by the Father,

Ignite in us your holy fire; strengthen your children with the gift of faith,

revive your Church with the breath of love,

Messages from Revd. Sarah

Exploring the Christian Basics Together

Begins Monday Evening May 13th at 7pm. At The Vicarage.

An informal time of open discussion for adults exploring the basics of the Christian faith beginning with: Believing in God, and why we need God in our lives. No question is off the table, and anyone who’d like to can drop in for the evening.

We continue May 20th looking at the life of Jesus, and thereafter in June.

3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th.

Community Consultation about the Church Rooms in Cropredy

If you receive the Crier you will see we have begun to consult widely about the Church Rooms and Church development in Cropredy.

An electronic version should have come to you if you receive Benefice emails.

Please do complete an audit too, as your voice and input matters too!

A suggestion…

May is a time between Ascension Day and Pentecost to pray for the Holy Spirit. You may like to take the May Collect as a special prayer for your life, for the church and world, in this season.

Revd. Sarah.

Mothering Sunday Services are a great opportunity to invite someone to church, or to remember someone pastorally by taking flowers/card.

School Experience Easter: During Holy Week the school will be setting up Easter stations at St Mary’s Cropredy to tell the story of Easter. If you could offer to be a person to prompt engagement with a station/help them tell that part of the story, please do be in touch.

Tuesday 26th and Wed 27th March afternoon for an hour.

School End of Term Easter Service: Sides people and welcomers needed for this whole school service, at St Mary’s Cropredy,

1.30 pm on Thursday 28th March for an hour.

Funeral of ‘Spider’ Cooper: 13th March 2pm at St Mary’s Cropredy.

Palm Sunday

United Service at St Mary Magdalene Wardington, 10 am.

Please do join us to celebrate the beginning of Holy Week. To journey the course of the week remember Morning prayer, Tuesday Holy Communion and Maundy Thursday Eucharist and Vigil at Mollington.

Good Friday St Mary’s Cropredy, 12 noon  Quiet Service of Reflection

Easter Sunday Services all include an egg hunt for extra fun.

If you could offer to help with this, please speak with Revd Sarah. If you could also offer to support refreshments, reading, siding on Easter Sunday, this too is so much appreciated, please speak to a Warden or to Revd Sarah.

Do be in touch if you’d like to explore/revisit the basics of Christian faith, and are interested in confirmation as the next step. Revd Sarah.
